Every employee in the organization has different duties and must be offered specific role-based training to understand their role and handle various situations. For instance, a pharmaceutical manufacturer must train employees on various GxP and quality requirements so that the product meets regulatory compliance. However, it is important to remember training is not a one-time job. Up-skilling employees is essential when a new process is introduced, a new product feature is added, or when audit reports that quality standards are not met.
Having periodic role-specific training is a continuous improvement strategy that improves corporate profitability, employee retention, understanding of emerging technologies, and operational efficiency.
With so many regulations and training required, an employer cannot rely on a paper-based training system to track it all.
