When I came on board in 2022 we had multiple applications for different things: CAPAs were in one place, training in another, and policies and procedures were in Word. Nothing was connected; nothing spoke to each other. In order to pass an audit we had to jump through a lot of hoops to prove we had any quality system.

We implemented ComplianceQuest during the first and second quarters of 2024. It's been phenomenal. In 2022 and 2023, we had eight major audit findings related to not having a quality management system. In 2024, we had zero. We’ve been able to eliminate those findings, which improves customers' perceptions, and the rework that goes into addressing them.

Customer audits are also so much easier. Because ComplianceQuest is on Salesforce, we can identify who the customer is and what product they’re using on our platform, prepare our audit materials in advance, go through the audit clearly, and document it in the system. We can also pull all the records we need for clinical trials or training. Since we started with the training methods and SOPs, we have had eight straight quarters of 100% training. And that is low hanging fruit to an auditor.

When I present to the C-suite I actually have good benchmark or trending data. We have a dashboard of where our CAPAs are and their age, how many open findings we’ve had and what type, and how long it takes to close those findings.

I spoke at the ConQuest conference on how to rebuild your EQMS house. We chose to do a rip-and-replace of what we had and bring in ComplianceQuest, and we talked about the benefits of our implementation and lessons learned. To see how ComplianceQuest has been implemented in other ways has sparked my creativity in identifying potential opportunities for us. I'm excited about seeing where we're able to go with version 14 and with AI. And I love the fact that with ComplianceQuest, the voice of the customer is very, very loud and very, very well heard.
