I'm the Quality Systems Manager at the Engineering Center of YKK, and I oversee anything related to systems—from implementation of platforms like ComplianceQuest to customer complaints, CAPA, and the document management process.

We are a Japanese-owned company, and they made the decision to move from Lotus Notes to Outlook. Our quality system resided in Lotus Notes, which meant we needed to find an alternative solution. I found ComplianceQuest and decided to bring them aboard because the software was so customizable.

One of the advantages of bringing in ComplianceQuest was how current the software is. It has so many capabilities compared to our previous system. We can accomplish much more because we can implement it and roll it out to different groups for different processes, such as tracking customer complaints, managing document control, and training.

We are getting ready to do a version update and are really excited about all of the bells and whistles. There's a lot that's going to be out there in the future that we're going to be able to take advantage of, and I'm excited about that.
