PLM Implementation Best Practices

Can you trust the data? Or does it need cleaning?

Resistance to change is a common human phenomenon. Educating employees about the benefits of the change is crucial. This awareness creation cannot be a one-time activity but needs to be repeated till the new method is part of the organizational culture and is sustainable. Understanding the value each task contributes and demonstrating how the value can be ensured with greater efficiency in the new approach can improve adoption.

Creating champions for change and assigning responsibilities will ensure sustained implementation of the PLM. Role clarity and clear objectives will enable the champions to create a plan and monitor progress to ensure the implementation is on track and the outcomes are achieved. The champion can answer queries and work with other team members to ensure they see value and follow the plan.
